Call for Proposals

We invite you to submit a proposal for the South Texas Distance Education Symposium 2008, to be held at South Texas College August 19, 2008.

Symposium Tracks are as follows. All sessions are 45 minutes. Proposal Submission Deadline: May 30, 2008

Course Showcase Submit Proposal
Faculty are invited to showcase their courses—talk about course design, organization, and effective teaching practices.

Technology in the Classroom Submit Proposal
Do you use Impatica, Wimba, Respondus, SoftChalk, or other tools with your classes? Share your practices with participants! Show how you use technology in your online or on-campus classroom.

Teaching for Learning Submit Proposal
What works with your online classes? Share effective instructional strategies with your peers.

The Web-Enhanced ClassroomSubmit Proposal

Student-Faculty Support Submit Proposal
 We have many opportunities to provide student and/or faculty support for distance education clients. Propose a session that highlights an effective practice.
